Clientcide Libraries

The foundation code of this library is the excellent MooTools framework, to which I contribute. It's included in the library on all the pages here. You can download it from MooTools or on the download page here.

Version 1.3 of MooTools is finally released. Many of the Clientcide MooTools extensions have been added to MooTools, so I've removed them from our libraries or, in some cases, refactored them. If you were using the Clientcide library or a portion of it already, you'll want to download it again.

As of Clientcide 3.0 (for MooTools 1.3) numerous plugins have been deprecated. See the Readme on github. You can find the old plugins in the 1.2x branch if you'd like to use them or even release them yourself.

The whole point of writing libraries and functions and classes is to reuse code, and I do that a lot. Consequently, almost all of the libraries here depend on other libraries within the collection.

The point here being that to use many of these libraries requires that you include others. To this end, I've mapped all the dependencies in the YAML headers in each file found in the respository (in the Source directory). The download page manages all this for you and optionally allows you to include the required dependencies from MooTools 1.3 if you haven't already downloaded them. You can also download the MooTools Development app which will let you run your own builder (see blog post) or the MooTools Packager

The content provided here is open source, so you are welcome to do with it as you please. It comes with no guarantees. If you find a bug, let us know about it!.

Clientcide's code is released under the Open Source MIT license, which gives you the possibility to use it and modify it in every circumstance.
